Trelawne (house)

Bude Music Society cordially invites you to a special evening of light classical music with Ruth Corney, flute, and Sam Cave, guitar, in the delightful garden of Trelawne, Whitstone, EX22 6TZ, on Sunday 16th July at 5.30 pm.
Ruth Corney played first flute in the Cornwall County Youth Wind Orchestra. She left Cornwall in 2005 to develop her performance skills, but she frequently returns to the South-West from London for solo and festival orchestra recitals. Ruth is at home equally with early music, expressing her love for melody and understanding of harmony, and with a contemporary repertoire, where her flare for exceedingly difficult technical works shines through.
Sam Cave is a classical guitarist and composer who left his native Cornwall to study in London. Working both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, Sam has performed in the UK and abroad and on BBC Radio Cornwall. Sam has a passion for modern repertoire and has given over 30 premiere performances. He is currently guitar tutor and lecturer at Brunel University.
Concert under cover, admission by ticket £10 includes light refreshments, available in advance from 01288 341328 or 341527 or Ark Angel bookshop, Bude. Students free.
